Spiritual healing is when I practise and demonstrate the energies and forces of the soul, when I become the vessel through which the ontological, mental, and spiritual power is brought, and when I consciously give this to the patient so that he can be healed.
Every person is ruled by and expresses through their body, emotions, and thoughts. These are our so-called realms or different forms of existence, which are constantly interacting and influencing one another.
We reach a state of balance when the flow of energies and forces in each of those parts of our existence is smooth and harmonious. If, however, one of those functions of ourselves is overpowered or underprivileged, then this balance is disrupted and manifests in diseases of the physical or psychological kind.
Spiritual Healing re-establishes the flow of energies and forces in those ‘three bodies of our existence’ to be able to express oneself evenly. The energy that perhaps has been accumulated at one specific area is newly flowing, while those parts of ourselves that have been weakened, become stronger and more resilient.
Recognising the oneness of the Spirit in everything: themselves, the patient, the illness, the world around us, a spiritual healer is such a person. The spiritual healer is alive and experiencing the miracle of life and is consciously becoming the conduit of spirituality that is given to the ones in need.
So, how exactly one can spiritually heal? Do any practices support this? The answer to that is there are as many spiritual healing practices as there are people! Everyone is different, and it might even be the case that a mixture of spiritual practices is what will heal you. There is no danger in discovering and trying.
Meditation: Meditation is an activity where the person uses a technique - like mindfulness, or bringing the mind's focus to a certain object, thought, or activity - to acquire mental clarity and emotional calmness through attention and awareness training.
Even focusing on your breath and making it rhythmic can be meditation! Meditation does not necessarily have to be done in silence as well; some people find meditation in dancing.
Yoga:Yoga, from the Sanskrit term ‘Yuji’ which means union or yoke, is a practice that unites the body and the mind. A professional yoga teacher will not only work on making your body adaptable but also will guide you in using the yoga practice to heal emotional wounds of the past and attain mental and emotional balance.
Mantras:Mantras are vibrations or sounds that instigate the effect, for example self-awareness, transformation, purification, or healing.
Besides, chanting mantras is also a great way to give the body more energy! I like yoga with the addition of mantras; it instantly calms me and unites my mind and body to work towards my goals.
Affirmations:Affirmations represent positive statements which desire to challenge previously assumed negative thought patterns. By making records of or verbally expressing affirmations daily, one becomes more conscious of one's thoughts and feelings. Furthermore, it confers a lot of confidence.
I find speaking these affirmations very effective.
At present, I am full of Vigor and excessively delighted.
Most of the time, I affirm things in the morning and similarly, when I go to sleep, I say them as well. They help me to set the tone of the day in the morning and to calm down at night.
Travel:Have some time to yourself and travel to the places you have never been to. I have always used the traveling time to give my mind and body a break when I am stressed and overloaded with work. The following are only a handful of my preferred locations.
